Purchase Manager
Are you an experienced procurement professional who enjoys developing sourcing practices, building strong supplier partnerships, and driving continuous improvement in a modern industrial environment?
OSTP Finland is looking for a Purchase Manager to take a key expert role in developing procurement operations. As part of the OSTP Group Procurement team, you will report to the Group General Procurement Manager and contribute to the development and execution of procurement activities across the Group.
Your key responsibilities
Developing and managing procurement categories across the OSTP Group, including Freight & Logistics and Industrial Gases.
Lead sourcing, tendering, negotiations and contracting for materials, services, investments and logistics
Develop supplier performance, sustainability and risk management practices
Drive procurement process development, automation and best practices
Act as a key business representative in ERP and digitalization projects, including Dynamics 365 development
Use data, analytics and reporting to improve cost efficiency, quality and supply security
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legislation and sustainability requirements
Contribute actively to cross-functional and international procurement collaboration within the OSTP Group
What we expect
Several years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management, preferably within manufacturing or process industries
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Experience in supplier development and category management
Understanding of ERP-driven procurement processes and data-based decision-making
Ability to lead development initiatives and improve ways of working
Relevant higher education degree
Fluency in Finnish and English, Swedish is considered an advantage.
